Itinerary
Day 1 – Paro to Thimphu
Welcome to Bhutan, the land of Thunder Dragon. Depart from Paro and drive to Thimphu the capital city of Bhutan. On the way we will be visiting Ta chog Lhakhang and free time at Chhuzom. Check into the hotel in Thimphu.
Day 2 – Thimphu Main Highlights
Have early morning breakfast and will start our journey. We will be visiting Buddha point; Takin preserve and Memorial chorten. Overnight in Thimphu
Day 3 – Thimphu and Punakha
Have early morning breakfast and visit Dochula Pass. Visit Punakha Dzong, suspension Bridge and River Rafting (self-paid/optional) Overnight stay in Punakha
Day 4 – Punakha and Paro
Drive to Paro- approximately takes around 4 hours. Visit the National Museum of Bhutan and explore Rinpung Dzong. Overnight stay in Paro
Day 5 – Explore Paro
Have early morning breakfast and hike towards Paro Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) Return to hotel. Explore Paro town and overnight at Paro.
Day 6: Departure from Paro Airport
Check out from hotel. Transfer to Paro Airport for departure.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival In Paro
Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you’ll be greeted by your guide.About a 1.5-hour drive through picturesque landscapes. On the way will be visiting Tachog Lhakhang- Built by Tibetan saint Thangthong Gyalpo. Overnight in Thimphu
Day 2: Thimphu
Early morning breakfast and visit Buddha Point-known as Buddha Dordenma (massive statue of Bhutan). Visit Takin Preserve, Nunnery Monastery and the viewpoint of Tashichoe Dzong. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 3: Thimphu – Punakha
Drive to Punakha and on the way, we will be visiting Dochula Pass. Visit Punakha Dzong and River Rafting (self-paid/optional). Overnight stay in Punakha.
Day 4: Punakha To Phobjikha Valley
Early morning breakfast and move towards Phobjikha Valley. We will be visiting Gangtey Monastery. Return towards Punakha. Overnight at Punakha
Day 5: Punakha – Paro
Drive to Paro- approximately takes around 4 hours. Visit the National Museum of Bhutan and explore Rinpung Dzong. Overnight stay in Paro.
Day 6: Paro

After having breakfast, we will depart from Punakha to Phobjikha. Upon reaching it we will be visiting Gangtey Goenpa or monastery. Overnight stay at Gangtey Goenpa
Day 6: Punakha – Paro
Drive to Paro- approximately takes around 4 hours. Visit the National Museum of Bhutan and explore Rinpung Dzong. Overnight in Paro
Day 7: Paro
Ater breakfast we will hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery, perched on a cliff. Those who are not hiking they will go for local sight-seeing. Explore Kaja Throm (local market)
Day 8: Depart
Check out of your accommodation. Arrive at Paro international airport and proceed through security and check-in for the flight.
